Currently, the Company has 81 R&D personnel, accounting for 15.88% of the total number of employees, including 1 doctor, 6 masters, 4 senior engineers. An innovation team of intelligent metering instrument science and technology consisting of 15 people has been formed to focus on intelligent technology research of metering instrument. 

The Company has a complete set of inspection and testing instruments and equipment, with testing and detection capabilities at the leading level in the industry, and 152 sets of major inspection and testing equipment such as national standard grid calibration bench, functional calibration device, intelligent pulse withstand voltage tester, automatic optical detector and electromagnetic compatibility testing equipment, with a total value of nearly RMB 10 million. In 2016, the Company passed the certification of Taian Intelligent Metering Instrument Industry Technology Research Institute and Taian Easy Meter Engineering Laboratory, and in 2017, the Company passed the certification of Shandong Province Enterprise Technology Center, and in 2017, the Taian Intelligent Precision Meter Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Demonstration Alliance was approved with the Company as the Chairman Unit, laying a solid foundation for the realization of scientific and technological innovation in the field of civil intelligent meters. 

With the continuous innovation of scientific and technical personnel, the Company has developed over 40 patent technologies with independent intellectual property rights, including 2 authorized invention patents, 23 utility model patents, 1 design patent, 8 software copyright registration certificates, and 4 software product registration certificates.     

The Company has been accredited as National Hi-tech Enterprise and has been awarded multiple honorary titles such as Taian Patent Pilot Enterprise, Taian Innovative Enterprise and Taian Science and Technology Small and Medium Enterprise. The intelligent water meter products of the Company have been recognized as Shandong Famous Brand Products, and the Automatic Water Meter Gear Assembly Machine developed by the Company has been awarded the Third Prize in the Regional Competition of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
