Overview:
Prepayment smart gas meter is an electromechanical measuring meter. With installed electricity valve, micro-computer control system and RF card operation system for gas measurement and prepayment management, the product is primarily used for measurement and billing of pipeline gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and biogas, and it changes the traditional gas management method. The product complies with GB/T6968-2011 membrane-type gas meter standards and CJ/T112-2008 IC card membrane type gas meter.

• Dedicated imported microprocessor with super low power consumption design and long battery life
• Prepayment function: pay in advance to use gas, eliminate overdue bills
• One-meter one-card function: each meter only recognizes card code that is read at the first time, and will not deliver data if other cards are inserted.
• One-card compatible function: compatible with water meters and electricity energy meters produced by the company.
• Indication function: accumulated gas consumption, remaining gas, operation status and other data will be shown.
• Alarm function: gas meter will alarm automatically when remaining gas is less than set value and users will be reminded of gas purchase. When flow exceeds maximum flow for 30 seconds, the valve will be automatically shut off to avoid pipeline damage.
• Shut off function: gas meter will automatically shut off the valve when remaining gas is zero, and users may swipe the card to use gas after gas purchase.
• Low voltage alarming function: gas meter will shut off the valve automatically when the battery is low.
• Anti-attack function: when gas meter is under magnetic attack, gas valve will be automatically shut off and will not be opened until external influence is removed, also the attack information will be recorded.

Installation and maintenance

• Gas meters should be installed in a well ventilated place and installation in bedrooms or bathrooms should be avoided.
• The installation place should be at least 1.5m from the fire and detection with fire should be strictly prevented.
• The pressure for installation test under sealed situations should in no way be larger the maximum work pressure.
• Air in the gas meter and pipeline should be removed before firing.
• Serious impacts, collisions and inversion should be avoided in transportation and handling. Debris should be avoided in the meter and valves should be mounted in front of the meter.
• The lead sealing should not be removed out of the meter and the gas company or property management company should be notified in case of anomalies.
• Gas meters should be regularly checked after installation. Dedicated professionals should be entrusted to change the battery if the reading is obscure after years of use.
