Overview:
The QSS series large-diameter smart water meter constitutes base meter, reed switch, micro-computer control box, smart card information system, which is applied in metering of water flow in pipelines as well as prepayment management. The meters with remote transmission functions could enable management department to read the meter at any moment, convenient for management for users. The product satisfies all technical requirements in National Standard GB/T778-2007 Measurement on Water Flow in Enclosed Pipelines, Cold Drinking Water and Hot Water Meter.

Features:

• Modular design: convenient for repair; every part is under modular design, and the repair can be performed without removing meters.
• Prepayment function: it can transfer various kinds of data in both directions through smart card. Water follows charge, and the valve will automatically shut down without charge.
• High-definition wide-temperature LCD display: It can directly check the information of water meter.
• Ultra-low power consumption design. Static power consumption is less than 10uA.

Installation instructions:

• Filter shall be installed in front of the water meter, valve shall be installed in front of filter, which is convenient for repair and cleaning of filter.
• It’s required to wash the pipelines before installation, so as to remove the debris inside pipelines; collision between surfaces shall be avoided. Installation shall be subject to the direction of flow indicating arrow, and enough maintenance space shall be provided.
• No excessive force is applied for connection between meter and pipelines, so as to avoid damage of sealing gasket resulting in leakage.
